Jan-Stars Janitorial Services' internal business management system sends these messages automatically, triggered by activity reported by field staff through the company's internal crew communication app, or by an authorized user's own actions in the internal admin dashboard.

Who Receives These Messages

Recipients are strictly limited to the owner and co-owner of Jan-Stars Janitorial Services — the two individuals responsible for business operations. There are no other recipients, and this program is never used to message customers, job applicants, or the general public.

How Recipients Enroll (Message Flow)

The owner and co-owner each enter their own mobile phone number into a form within the company's password-protected internal admin dashboard (Settings → SMS Alert Numbers), located at jan-stars.com/dashboard. Before saving a number, they must check a consent checkbox reading: "I consent to receive automated SMS alerts from Jan-Stars Janitorial Services at the number(s) above, for emergency, supply, and incident notifications. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time." The form will not save a number unless this box is checked. The date and time of consent is recorded. This is not a public sign-up — the dashboard requires authentication, and only the two account holders can access or use this form. Immediately after checking the box and saving, the system sends a one-time opt-in confirmation text (see Sample Messages below) to the number(s) just entered.

What Messages Are Sent

Messages are sent only for the following specific operational events, matching this program's registered "Emergency" use case:

• Emergency reports — a field staff member indicates they need urgent help at a job site.
• Supply requests — a field staff member reports supplies are needed at a job site.
• Incident reports — a field staff member logs a workplace incident at a job site.
• Opt-in confirmation — sent automatically the moment an authorized user checks the consent box in Settings.
• Shift reminders — a scheduled crew member has not clocked in for their shift.

No marketing, promotional, or unrelated content is ever sent through this program.
